Start Your Morning with Ayurvedic Daily Routine Tips

Did you know that your morning routine actually starts the night before? Follow this plan 12 steps to feel refreshed to start the day.

1. Do not stay too late: Getting in bed at 10 or 22:30 will help you start the morning off right.

2. Wake up at dawn: If you are exhausted, sick or elderly, please sleep all you want. Upon awakening, not get out of bed right away. Try to be aware of your body and feel grateful to be alive before your toes touch the ground.

3. Drinking hot lemon water: This helps flush the G.I. roads, clean the kidneys and stimulates peristalsis. If digestion is slow, add 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ginger root.

4. Nature calls: Go to the bathroom when you wake up will help clarify your digestive system. A healthy "movement" will record quality soft brown color, low odor and will be well-formed (like a banana). Undigested food, bad smell, mucous membranes, excessive dryness or quality of "ball-like" suggests a digestive imbalance. Altering diet and lifestyle and perhaps the use of herbs help to better this.

5. Gently scrape your tongue: Buy a tongue scraper silver. Scrape back and forth 5-8 times. Language is a mirror of your intestines. When there is a layer of thick white paint on the tongue, which is indicative that AMA (toxins) are present. tongue scraping helps prevent diseases of the oral cavity, improves our ability to test, gets rid of old food debris and prevents odor in the mouth.

6. Wash your face, mouth, teeth and eyes:  Splash your face with cold water. Flush eyes with cold water or-treating real rosewater. You can also buy a drink for the eye in most pharmacies and use it to wash the eyes. Massaging the gums with sesame oil. This improves oral hygiene, prevents bad breath, increases circulation in the gums, bleeding gums healthy, and helps us to maintain strong and healthy teeth.

7. Mouth detox: Take 1-2 tablespoons of pure sesame oil (unroasted) in the mouth. Gargle and swish until a liquid texture (about 10-15 minutes), and then spit in the paper is created. This strengthens teeth, gums and jaw. It also improves voice and is said to remove wrinkles of the cheeks! Ten of the 15 minutes can seem a long time, but try swishing around while you do something else.

8. Use a Neti pot: Add 1/4 teaspoon salt to warm water in the pot and drain through each nostril. Then put 3-5 drops of warm sesame oil or butter in the nostrils to lubricate the nose. This keeps the breasts clean, improves voice, vision and mental clarity. Our nose is the gateway to the brain. nose drops nourish our prana and improve intelligence.

9. Abhyanga (self-massage) massage nourishes and calms the nervous system, stimulates the lymphatic flow and helps detoxification. It also improves circulation, increases vitality, nourishes the skin and promotes the body / mind balance.

10. Exercise: One of our greatest allies in the movement toward equilibrium, exercise stimulates the immune system and is an excellent way to counter depression. Daily exercise half the capacity. We want to shine a little sweaty, but not burned before the start of the day.

11. Meditate: Start the day with some form of breathing and meditation work. Start with five minutes and work up to at least 20 minutes a day. sometimes I do my meditation before exercise, which is also very good.

12. Eat breakfast: Let your morning meal consists of simple foods, whole. My favorite foods include oatmeal for seasoned with butter, cereal cooked rice with avocado and egg or a fresh fruit smoothie with almond milk and spices breakfast.
